Nick Davies

Nick Davies graduated from Yale in 2024 as an ethics, politics and economics major (hons). He is most passionate about interdisciplinary approaches to environmental challenges across scales. Prior to joining the CC Lab’s Carbon TrapRock Project, he interned at Cella Mineral Storage, a carbon mineralization startup operating in Kenya. His thesis—supervised by Professor Daniel Esty—investigated the potential of carbon markets and was titled: “Latitude and Stringency in the International Climate Regime: How coordinated carbon pricing can reshape the equity-efficacy tradeoff.” While a member of the Yale sailing team, Nick won back-to-back national college sailing championships. He hails from Lausanne, Switzerland.
